Detroit passes no use for Ellers.

laugh You're not getting Bo Horvat extended for Mantha and Iorio and a 2024 1st and 2025 4th round pick that're 2 and 3 years away respsectively. That offer is beaten by a country mile.

Backwards, you'd have to pay Detroit for them to take Eller. And it'd have to be better than a late rd pick

Horvat is not currently extended and it looks like he won’t extend in Vancouver. Washington isn’t going to trade Iorio and a 1st for Horvat or anyone else for that matter.

Is Washington going into rebuild mode now? I haven't heard any reports from any insiders

Awful trade for Washington. Horvat is completely unnecessary with Kuzy, Strome, and Backstrom all in Washington already, Mantha is far more important on the wing (putting up good points despite getting 3rd line time) and anything Washington would gain by trading for Horvat is immediately canceled out by trading away Mantha, Iorio, and the 1st.

Also don't see the need for Kulikov when Washington already has a cheaper 2LD in Fehervary.
