I really don't think there is a single team not named Vancouver that would even slightly consider any of these offers.

This is the best we've seen Holl play since the early days of the Muzzin-Holl shutdown pair. Myers is a downgrade that costs more.

Schenn for the 3rd is fair. Add Robertson and that's a joke.

And yet somehow there are other teams in this post getting ripped off even more than Toronto.

Teams in the same division usually don't do much trading unless they both teams really need to dump guys. beside Flames would just wait in the shadows like they usually do, right
I don't think the Canucks would want to do any of the trades because they don't really fill our needs without giving up something we would have to go shop for.
They might trade Bo to Ottawa but they would want Brady back to start any conversation

Ottawa could do the Horvat trade. Brannstrom is not good and Jarventie is okay. Docker is good and the 2023 1st is great

Take out the 2023 second and Petersen with $1.5 million retention for Martin is fair. You don't have to give us your 2023 first (I'm sure you put it on the wrong side by accident, because the only way we'd be trading our 2023 first to you is in a package for Quinn Hughes).

brady? as in tkachuk? you've got to be joking, Horvat isn't worth half of what Tkachuk is

Canucks are fleecing every single deal in the post, every other team declines these

Because if you just care about the players you need and not how the players you offer in returns doesn't fill any need for the team you are trading with, it makes perfect sense!

NO

Ottawa has Time Stutzle, Josh Norris and Shane Pinto at Center. Their 2 best remaining prospects (since Sanderson and Pinto have graduated), Greig and Ostapchuk are also centers.

I have no idea who would play on the Wing since Stutzle absolutely need to be at Center, Norris is a 2-way stud and Pinto is also one in the making (same with Greig)

The positions the Sens need are :

- top-4 RHD
- quality 3rd line winger like Nick Paul or Connor Brown (sigh)

As for the pieces :

- 2023 1st round pick (OTT) : no chance Sens trade this pick. The pick is 7th OA at this point and there's a gigantic difference in quality between the 2022 draft and the 2023 draft. The 7th OA pick from last year pretty got much DeBrincat. Why would the Sens need to add this much to get Horvat?
- Bernard-Docker, Jacob : still worth a 1st round pick easily to the Sens, will be a quality defensive D-man
- Järventie, Roby : he's much more than "okay". Sens are very high on this guy (see below)
- Brännström, Erik : He is NOT not good... looking at hockeydb.com is the best way to go nowhere fast and have baseless opinions. Brannstrom has been excellent this season.

Identifying and developing prospects is the only thing Dorion is good at.

“brannstrom is not good” is the best way to prove that the extent of hockey that you know is what you look up on hockey DB. Sens have no business making this trade. Not that any of the pieces are untouchable bar the 2023 1st, but the Sens absolutely can’t afford to spend 8M on an overachieving (but still very good) centre when they already have. Stützle, Norris and Pinto down the middle, and this contract would probably cause the Sens to lose both DeBrincat and Zub
