Seattle is 2nd or 3rd in their division I believe. Why do they do this? Value is also waaayyyy off, Seattle should be getting much more for this

and, they aren't retaining on their recent free agent signing for 5 years at 2M.

Lmao bruh, Burakovsky is like ppg this year no? That package probably wouldn't even net Burakovsky alone let alone with 2M retained AND Dunn. Id do Holl + Robertson + a 2nd for Dunn.

Why are some Toronto fans so negative about Justin Holl? He's playing 21 and a half minutes every game and he's one of only 9 Maple Leafs who've played in all 29 games, only one of whom (Mitch Marner) averages more time on ice. (And of defensemen, only Morgan Reilly averaged more before he got injured.) Sure, we'll take him for a fifth, and the sooner the better, but I don't get the antipathy . . .

Leafs don't need help on LHD....I don't know what the author says so. Reilly, Sandin, Giordano and Benn....and Brodie can go from right to left.
But trading RHD Holl is just foolish.....See the informative narrative above by OldNYIfan.

How is exchanging Dunn for Holl "adding defence" as the title reads.

Not saying Seattle should do the trade because of the Burakovsky inclusion.

Because Holl isn't a big shiny name?

Its just the casuals who hate on Holl lol. It was the same thing with Gardiner. People just bash them cause its the cool thing to do or they think they sound smart. Its like when woke fans bash hockey culture.

I agree with you that there's not nearly enough heading Seattle's way, and they not trading Burakovsky after just signing him, let alone retain a significant chunk of his salary for FIVE seasons. I also don't think the Kraken will be interested in moving Dunn, he's formed a very effective partnership with Larsson; they need him much more than they'd need Holl, Robertson, and a 2nd round pick.

I think he's definitely worth more than that, I just don't think Toronto needs him enough to pay more than that package if that makes sense.
