My main thought here is you don;t even address the largest problem. I'm getting close to being down for a buyouts of Leddy and Krug.

Personally, I don’t mind if the blues stay broken and bad. Easier path to the playoffs for Nashville.

I think the Blues just need to find a low quality starter/high quality backup goalie. Someone that can start more games, so Binnington doesn’t play as much. You also need the same career years you had from Tarasenko, Kyrou, and Thomas. All of them still have good production, but it’s still down from last year. The D is an issue too. Also, please don’t take Tolvy

I know Greiss was supposed to be that high quality backup goalie, but he’s just been bad at that role. You need to find someone else to do it

Capitals don’t even consider that trade for a second. It’s extremely one sided and doesn’t address any of our issues.

The Blues hard committed to a new leadership group. Gotta get ride of the old guard. Dumping 90 & 91 is the right call

I was thinking of that but i just cant see a buyout right now for those two, But also i cand see a trade either atm. Maybe krug and we get a good defensive specialist plus a pick. Maybe too FLA?

Maybe it's just been when I've watch games, but against Nashville and Philadelphia I thought he was just bad. I guess I don't bring him good luck

Eller could bring back a 3rd but Greiss and Mikkola aren't worth that.

think that's fair and as most Blues and Leafs fans probably know by now, I'm a huge advocate for ROR to TOR.

No he has not. I have no idea how you get that. He's let in several softies and is a nightmare playing the puck. He does one thing well: positioning. So lots of things hit him. If he has to move, forget it. Sieve.

your clearly not watching the games i am. Are you watching him in Detroit perhaps?
Sure he hasnt been amazing but hes been pretty good and for the most part aside from a game or two given the blues a good chance to win every game hes played.
Also so what if hes not amazing at puck handling, not every goalie is amazing at everything. The team knows this and should adjust to compensate, then it wont be a problem.

Funny stuff. Setting aside that you need a vocabulary review, the guy has two quality starts and a good half dozen howlers in seven starts (4.12 GAA, .890 sv pct). The guy hasn't been decent in two years and hasn't been genuinely good for like five years. Plus, you are the first human I've seen so much as suggest Greiss has been good for us this season. Nobody else thinks this.

Exactly. Capitals have 50/50 shot at playoffs. We aren’t giving up 2 major assets for pure offensive winger who literally address nothing for us. You might get a 1st + average prospect for him but nothing close to this. Massive overpayment
