We're very happy keeping Ullmark, thanks.

On a more serious note, where's Lukkonen? I keep waiting for him to breakout. Thought he was going to be a stud by now.

Looks alright to me
But would’ve been a hard sell at the time to keep them
And i really liked McCabe

UPL is still pretty young, especially for a goalie
He’s not yet 24
And while his development has been a bit up & down,
Ryan Miller wasn’t our starter until he was older

And as a Bruins fan,
I’m sure you remember how long it took for Tim Thomas to break out

Goalies are wacky when it comes to their development timeline
We all know that
There’s just no standard for it

McCabe and Murphy are probably both available. Neither is a superstar (obviously) but they're signed for 3+ years at reasonable AAV.

My guess is a 1st would have to be involved from a playoff team (low 1st) or a 2nd + something else from a rebuilding team (high 2nd).

plus the Hip surgery and injuries, as well as the developmental leagues shutting down when he was getting his foot in the door

@Tank4McEichel
I feel your pain my friend.
Any fool could see Ullmark was going to be special and McCabe was our heaviest hitter.
Put them on the club last year and it may have been in the hunt until April but certainly would have reached 90 pts.
Ullmark was 9-6-3 in 20-21 and Anderson was 17-12-2 last year.
With a healthy Ullmark last year playing 51 games he could have been 26-17-8 adding in Craig's W-L 43-29-10 gives 93 pts,
Not the playoffs but in the hunt.
With a defense of:
Samuelsson Dahlin
Power-Jokiharju
McCabe-Lyubushkin
in front of the GK's we certainly would not have seen an 8 game losing streak.

@BruinsFan35 Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is still young but more importantly, the defense is subpar.
Jokiharju is out for a couple of months Dahlin, Samuelsson and Power are good and will get better, but the balance are 7th or AHL Defensemen.
Ullmark was certainly the Sabres gift to the Bruins and the Sabres will face him for the next 10 years and regret every game.
