I want this to happen so bad if for no other reason than to see Panarin and Kane back together. They never should have been split up in the first place.

Why should they get Kane? What is this magical miracle you expect to happen if they do?

Secondly that is a step over price.

Yes and it isn't 2021 for NYR either, not playing like a team destined for playoffs right now.
if it was it would be less painful trade proposal. Kind of a deep draft too, so that is a no.

I have another deal what you think NYR should pay for Kane, but we reverse it and you'll get Panarin and you pay us
