Well if any team can teach Engvall to use his size it would be MN.

1. It's an overpay for Hartman.
2. It frees up cap to give Freddy G (GM and coach favorite) a raise next year.
3. MN hasn't really missed him in the 20 games he was out injured this year.

The Hartman deal probably needs more from the Leafs for MIN to let him go. A (sudden) 30 goal guy making very little money is exactly what they need given their Suter-Parise cap issues

I wouldn’t trade Robertson for Xhekaj straight up, let alone adding a 2nd.

Absolutely insanity. Toronto can keep Robertson who leafs fans were touting to be as good as Caufield. Sure….ok.

Once again leafs fans completely out of touch.

If Minnesota is out of a playoff position, this deal makes sense. For now, we want to win so a polite decline

How

Both Xhekaj + '23 2nd have more value to MTL than Robertson individually, and it's proposed here to trade both for a guy who isn't worth that to MTL nor is he wanted in MTL.

Xhekaj is an AHL defenseman at best, he's not an NHL level defenseman, and wont be for quite some time. He can fight and hit, but other than that, I don't see any particular strengths in his game, whereas Robertson is a skilled winger who has middle 6 potential if he can stay healthy

Agree to disagree, you can keep Robertson and we'll keep our assets here.

21 year old forward with injury concerns who is 5'9 183. Career stats: 31GP 3G 4A -1 on a stacked TML

21 year old defenseman who hits and fights but doesn't get hurt who is 6'4 238. Career stats: 35GP 5G 7A -1 on MTL.

which one sounds like the better prospect/player?

Is he even 183lbs? I thought he was more like 162lbs...
