I doubt the stars are going near the Coleman contract. Good player, just not at that number.

Exactly what I was scrolling down to say. I’d swap him for another inflated contract like Faksa, but def not taking him at his full cap him for positive value

He is definitely very fairly paid for what he provides. I wouldn't call his contract inflated at all and I highly doubt he would be moved either

Sharks are quality over quantity and this is just a lot of quantity for Timo. I can't imagine they'll entertain a deal without a 1st.

I do like a number of the players on here but not for where the Sharks are and what they're giving up. I will say you are closer than most with the extension number. Way too many people think they can extend him for like 7.5

Agree to disagree. 4.9 million is a lot for a guy with 12 points in 31 games

Quantity for quality in the Sharks trade. And no 1sts? Nah that's a no.

I mean if all you can see in him is points then there's your issue

I know he’s a very strong defensive player. Paying guys like that 5 million per is a luxury that most teams can’t afford til the cap starts increasing again. You really wanna see the point production from guys making that much. Like I said, we can agree to disagree. I’m not saying he isn’t a good player I’m saying for that much cap I’d like more production

Flames as a whole are underproducing this year, that's a particularly fair judgement

Are they under producing this year or were they over producing last year? I used good picks on Calgary players in fantasy this year so I’m a little grumpy when it comes to that team lol

Kadri probably wasn't going to be a ~100 point player but should have been expected for around an 80 point pace. Huberdeau has been well over a PPG since 17/18 he's clearly not producing at an expected rate. Mangiapane's still shooting well below his average from the last 3 years.

It's the same way Bo Horvat isn't going to score 60 this year and probably ends up a bit under 40
