That could be something ARI looks at.
The VAN deal is nowhere near enough value though.

Vancouver is selling a rental essentially. Damiani could very well turn into a solid 2/3 player. Gurianov needs a change of scenery. The 2nd is for the retention. Is it a risk? Sure. I'd even consider Bourque but I know other Stars fans would lose their minds.

Im pretty sure if all it took to get Horvat half retained was Damiani, Bourque, Gurianov and a 2nd, 99% of Stars fans would run away laughing

Harley Thomas has potential and the pair of 1st round picks are a good offering for Chychrun. Glendening and Khudobin added to the trade is a poison pill. Neither of them have any relevance for AZ other than cap absorption for assets. If Dallas needs to dump these two, then there will need to be sweeteners.

Huh? A 22-year old ahl player and a winger that isn't really good who we don't need for Horvat? And the 2nd is only for retention.
1st round pick and a good prospect is the minimum ask.
