Disclaimer: Not a fan of either of these teams but just basing it off of recent reports linking Kane to Boston. If Bussi + 2023 1st isn't enough value, I also considered adding Brett Harrison heading back to Chicago so let me know if that would get it over the line.

Highly doubtful he's enough. 4 garbage cap dumps plus 50% retention is gonna take Lysell and a couple other picks added in

Feels like Lysell would be untouchable if I were the Bruins.

He should be, cause their prospect cupboards are pretty much bare. but they gotta add a ton to get this done.

There is chatter about Kane to the Bruins, but I don't think they are willing to part with the assets to land him. They don't have a wealth of prospects or picks for that matter, so moving them for Kane is unlikely. Barring any injury and watching Sweeney trade history he will hold pat and look for some depth 2nd line to 4th line players. Perhaps even a touch more grit on the the blue line as a number 6 for when the playoffs get chippy.

Honestly, the depth is all they really need. They've got 2 solid top lines, and a good top 4 D. Goaltending has been excellent. Personally, I don't think a big splash is needed. And as a Leafs fan, that really pisses me off! LOL

Ha ha - yeah thats fair. I am with on this one, again barring any injuries etc. But keep the assets we have given our pool of them isn't large. We have some intriguing younger players like Riley Duran and Dans Locemilis - but no one that jumps out at you like Mason Lohrei and Lysell. Even Jellvik and Mast could be interesting but none are locks to make the big leagues.

It would be nice to see the Bruins move Smith and Mike Reilly so they can play full time somewhere else. Smith is such a good team player and can put up 30-51 pts in a full season and brings leadership. Just unfortunate the Bruins don't lack any leadership so he has been passed by younger players now.
