You're a Canucks HOMER who over values your players
Ritsolainen is better and younger than Myers
Koneckny is better than Boesner
While Miller is better than JVR his albatross contract every canuckle head fan has been trying trade since it was signed makes JVR THE BETTER ASSET. The picks don't make up the difference. Everyone of you know that Miller contract is going to age like milk sitting out in the noon sun in August in Miami.
So,please go on and explain how this is a "fleecing" by Philly? How this "saves"Fletcher rather than getting his butt canned.

I'd love to read a reasoned and rational explanation how this is a "fleecing" by Philly?

Ristolainen might just be the worst player in the league, and is signed for 5.1x5. An insanely negative asset. They upgrade from Risto to Myers and JVR to Miller, which are both bigger upgrades than the Canucks get from Boeser to Konecny. Then they also get a 1st and an early-mid 2nd

1 year of JVR is a much better asset than Millers 8 years. And Myers contract sucks so claiming that's a massive upgrade on ritso I'd delusionally homerish.

You: 1 year of JVR is much better than 8 years of Miller

Also you: 2 years of Myers isn’t better than 5 years of Risto

??? Just about anything is a huge upgrade on Risto, especially if you get a contract coming back that has a lot less term

More money though but may not be as bad as I originally thought on that one ,but it's still not a positive value comparitively. In basic terms gaining 7 years of 8 mil compared to loosing 3 at 5.5 certainly doesn't qualify as a FLEECING.

I guess that he can continue just carrying on with no changes to his 28th place team and hope for the best.
