I think Arizona is looking for something better. Jarventie is a legit prospect and the 1st is mandatory, but the rest is pretty meh.

More importantly, there's no cap room to sign Sanderson to a long term deal and that is something we really should be trying to do.

Formenton at "normal value" is worth a mid 1st +, I wouldn't even trade him for that. I'd keep the 2nd fastest skater in the NHL who also lead the NHL in SH goals in his 22 y/o rookie season. Considering the situation might as well wait and see what happens, he's not worth anything right now

Arizona sees Jarventie + a 1st + a 2nd as the good parts. The other pieces are a player who MIGHT be charged with sexual assault, a small offensive defensemen who has yet to find his offensive game, an AHL sniper who hasn't even been called up by his own team while multiple forwards are injured and they're struggling to score because his foot speed and defensive game are a liability, AND to top it all off, Zaitsev is included in the deal?? I just don't think this offer is anywhere near good enough for ARI to consider.
