Sharks could choose between SDA, Hirvonen, Steeves, Voit, Tverberg for that 2nd prospect.

I think SJ could say yes to TOR for a combination of your two top prospects that don't include Knies, but that could just be me. I personally like Niemela, Hirvonen and Voit

That offer for Timo Meier is easily beaten, And with what Toronto still has to sign. Good luck paying Meier between $8,000,000 to $9,000,000. he'd basically just be a short term rental with the Leafs. Then probably moved at the draft for a better return.

Oh my that's not enough for a retained Meier. But you're on the right track.

Hampus Lindholm: one first, two seconds, an NHL-ready prospect who played immediately after the trade and is playing in the NHL this season, too, and 50% retention on the balance of $6.75 million.

Your value of Meier: one first, one defenseman who's still playing overseas and thus at least a couple of years away from playing in the NHL, a prospect who is an underdog to make the League, and 50% retention on the balance of $10 million for a guy you still have under team control this summer.

Now, I'll be the first person to admit that Boston overpaid for Lindholm by at least a second even though he re-signed with them, he's quarterbacking the Bruins' first PP unit and they're leading the league in points, but I also think that you're a little short for Meier here.

Not saying the Sharks should do this trade, but authors of these type of posts show absolutely no respect for Meirer cap next season to whatever has. What it's a 9m qualifying offer.

I doubt anyone is paying Meier's QO.
He's probably a free agent.

No, not that object to drinking or recreational drugs. So sad to read on CF delusional Leaf fans, ( I can only assume they have been taking hallucinate drugs )if they think the cap work next season without dismantling the team. Just seems childish, "I want, I want" without looking at the cap....which is the name of this site....Cap Friendly.
