I feel like other teams can offer more and more of what VAN needs than the Avs. And the Avs don't need to be spending premium assets on rentals. Vancouver is just not a good trade partner for the Avs.

Canucks decline. I'm not sure why Girard is frequently in a trade for Horvat. He is good, but doesn't really do much for the Canucks. A 2023 1st is also probably necessary for Horvat
