Description

Avs will most likely have one or two guys out to start the playoffs, but healthy they really don't need anything. JT Compher played well in 1C minutes at certain points so between him and Rodrigues one of them should be skating well at any given time for those 2C minutes.

Francouz being out again long term, I think the Avs might go after a goalie they know well who could jump into a playoff game or two if needed. Much more than I'd would say the Avs feel comfortable this year with JJ or Annunen.

Avs are still accruing cap space with the guys they have out now as well but I don't see Avs giving up this or next years first or any of their top four prospects in Behrens, Olausson, Ranta, or Foudy.

It’s been over a decade since Anderson was with the Avs, but I think he still overlapped with Erik Johnson. I’m all for this reunion, I’d love to see Anderson win a cup as a backup.

I doubt the the Sabers Gm would trade for so little he already said he would rather leave the team intact than pick up a few late picks.

The Anderson trade to Ottawa amd the EJ trade to the Avs were made one day apart. They missed each other by hours.
