Anaheim doesn't need a defenseman in return.

Tatar only gets moved for a top 4 LHD/RHD nothing else don't need or want Schmaltz.

So they'll lose one to expansion and keep playing Bieksa?

Really? Cause i saw someone else on here say Detroit would take a 1st and a 2nd for him. Schmaltz was a 1st rounder and throw in another 1st rounder. Those two pieces alone are worth a top 4 D.

I said that. This isn't the same.

Would you take Sheahan (former 1st round pick), a 2nd, and a 3rd for Panarin? That's pretty equivalent to what you're asking. Sending a forward (which we don't need) who was a 1st rounder isn't the same as sending a 1st round pick.

If you have a good D prospect you'd like to send, and receive Russo or Sproul back (Tatar + Russo/Sproul = D prospect + 1st), we'll consider it.
