Donskoi hasn’t played a game yet this season. He doesn’t have any value until he’s back and playing

The Kraken don't really need Klingberg, they went and signed Schultz in the offseason to fill the role Klingberg would, and at a cheaper rate. Thus far Schultz has been the better of the two defensemen.

While Seattle would probably jump on the Dallas trade in a heartbeat, I don't think the Stars or any other team really would consider it. Donskoi has been out injured all season, so at this point I'm treating anything the Kraken get from him, be it on-ice production or a trade return, as a bonus.

If we were to move Kling 50% retained and a 2nd is the best draft pick coming back, there will need to be a blue chip prospect attached as well. Probably the best guy you have in the system not named Shane Wright.

. . . and all three seconds are in the back half of the round. I don't think that there is a fit here because Seattle is in no position to be trading away prospects.

Its not 2015 lol, theres a reason he had to sign for 1 year on the Ducks. Klingberg isn't worth more than a 2nd. If thats what it takes to get him I guess the Ducks will be using him as on own rental.
