Description

Bring in Gudas for some grit so teams can't run over the star players without repercussions.(big)
Staal brings a winning presence and Stanley cup experience.(big)
Meier as a rental, if he works see if he will sign for less to win. (more picks to trade if needed).(big)
Buffalo trade to make some room for Kane to return (could also just send guys down to make room.
The team becomes bigger and tougher to play against.
Hopefully, goaltending can figure itself out...

Probably need to add significantly for Meier. Sounds like SJ is in no realrush to move him, so they probably wait for a better price

a deal with them should start with a premium blue chip prospect+ or an unprotected 1st+

more like both! guy is coming of PPG and 35 goals and on pace to be over a PPG with 40+ goals and is only 26.

Janmark is merely a depth player, no value really. Puljujarvi is a project in that the oilers want way too much for him otherwise he would have already been dealt. Also he is a pending rfa with arb rights which makes him even less intriguing. It would need at least a 1st plus a high prospect

Probably depends on the pick or prospect. A weaker pipeline like Edmonton’s, it probably should be both though

I know 4th round picks don't have much value, the Sabres have no use for either player. These aren't even replacement level players.
