1st trade is a definite No go. And the 2nd one is intriguing but can't see the Sabres doing it.

Not just no, but hell no to Myers

Wtf did you do to the lines? Thompson on the wing is worthy of criminal charges.

Where is UPL?

Where did savoie come from?

What a mess

The Sabres clearly like Jost and the way he's fit in - Granato repeatedly praises him and the effect he's had, first on the 4th line and now stabilizing the ineffective duo of Mittelstadt and Olofsson. Adams has pointed to Jost's age as fitting into their long-term plans so he isn't being traded - especially for an aging player in decline like Myers.

For at least the remainder of this season, it looks pretty obvious that the Sabres will stick with the UPL-Comrie-Anderson trio and see what happens with signing attempts for Levi and Portillo. I don't see them shifting course on goaltending anytime soon.

Hold up, hold up. You want the Canes starting goalie for two prospects? Why would Carolina do this? They're already looking to send Kochetkov down because he cannot stop a beachball right now, Raanta isn't much better. Since Freddie stopped playing through injury, he's been unreal, why would Carolina do this?

Absolutely no on the first trade, and Carolina would definitely decline the 2nd.
