Not quite sure what VAN or CHI would be looking for. We could offer Bryson and/or Clague in any deal as well instead of draft picks.

Adding Schenn would help Buffalo, but he doesn’t fit their timeline imo. On the other hand Jake McCabe isn’t even a good player. You might as well trade for Mike Reilly smh.

Schenn is just a band-aid. Maybe we'd re-sign him for another year or 2 after this.

Not sure what you mean about McCabe. He's a +4 on a terrible team, playing 2nd pairing minutes. BUF is familiar with McCab'e play and he would be just fine on the 3rd pairing.

Mccabe is worth that, but I think the hawks would get more given the recent D market

Curious as to what would be a good offer. Open to negotiations smile We got more picks and prospects than nearly everyone.

A 2nd and a 4th doesn't get McCabe. He's playing really well on a brutal Hawks team. And signed for 2 more seasons so Hawks don't have to trade him. It will take an offer the Hawks can't refuse for them to trade McCabe. So something like that Philly 2023 2nd and a F prospect like Bloom.

I'd probably pull the trigger on that deal. I'd negotiate a bit and give you the BUF 2nd smile

If you're trading him to another playoff-caliber team, their 2nd would be worse than ours.

Well that depends. If the Sabres make the playoffs, their 2nd might not be that much better!! 😁

I think Hawks could get a Chariot deal from a contender. Something like 1st+prospect+mid pick. Not sure what that looks like from BUF since they won't give their 1st i'm sure. I'd say both 2023 and 2024 2nd's probably competes for 23 2nd+ good prospect. Ultimatley if a contender will do a 1st + for him like Chariot it will be tough to turn down. And Mccabe isn't a rental like Chariot was

Yea, a 1st from BUF is too rich, but you might be able to get it from someone.

I could live with 2 2nds. That's a common deal for Dmen.

Canucks would probably take just a 3rd for Schenn.

Perfect, but we don't have one until 2024.

He was Chicago’s worst d man when the Hawks visited UBS, maybe that was an outlier game tho.
