    If there’s any retention, that cuts off all negotiations.

    Seems like most posters wildly misunderstand what waivers means this season.

    This save the bruins 300k this year and cost them 1.2 million next year. This makes no sense for Boston.

    it also saves them 1.3 million the year after that, if you want we can say it's two thirds instead of a fourth and a fifth and the bruins retain 300k less, the marginal assets being exchanged for mike reilly aren't the point of this exercise so i'd rather not get hung up on them

    NYR pass. Terrible depth, Reilly yuk, Lindgren is worth his weight in gold not 2 2nds and Goody is not a dump
