Description

The price would be steep, but i think Meier perfectly fits what the canes would be looking for, plus he's under team control. That 10 mil QO is scary, but preferably they can work out a contract before the trade.

Kulikov is a rental and provides defensive depth.

Kubalik seems like a very canes type move. Great value contract for what he brings and some term.

There is no world where Timo Meier should be making more than Sebastian Aho. Maybe an 8x8 or 8x7.5 extension makes more sense.

Gee Dominik Kubalik on pace for 26g+34a for 60p 1.5 years at a reasonable $2,500,000 cap hit for a 2023 5th and 2024 2nd round pick. He's easily worth 2 2nds or 1 2nd and 3rd round picks easily. Detroit declines.
