They don't need to trade anyone with Hornqvist on LTIR, I believe. They'll just send someone down to the AHL.

Hornqvist ain’t coming back this year. So they dont need to do anything.

I don't see that getting a Gavrikov trade done. The Jackets are looking for a 2023 1st for sure, which Florida just doesn't have to offer. If this were as a pure rental, it might get the deal done, but with an extension in place and other teams able to offer that 1st, it'll cost more. Probably looking at throwing in the 2024 3rd or possibly the 2023 2nd to get it done.
