A 4C, a B prospect that's injury prone, and a pick in the 20's. Yeah that'll do it.

A 21 yr old prospect who was a PPG in the AHL is a b prospect? Robertson is an A prospect…

Also to your point Hall, and stone who are comparable went for less in a TDL trade.

Hall handicapped Buffalo with his NTC and had a $8M cap hit in a flat cap world. Thats not a comparable for any trade because that exact circumstance is so rare. Stone returned Brannstrom, who was a great prospect at the time.

But stone also didn’t return a 1st rounder. They got a 2nd rounder which was 4th last in the 2nd round and Oskar Lindblom.

Not saying this is the package Meier returns but if Toronto was to trade for Meier these are parts more than likely to be moved. As well ik a lot of Leaf fans think robertson is a bust but he’s 21 yrs old and was ppg in the AHL which is a low scoring league. Injury luck hasn’t been on his side but he’s gonna be good. Imagine we traded Liljegren only 3 yrs ago. He’s now our one of our best defenders.

Ok but I doubt you get a better package. Niemela is one of the top defensive prospects in the NHL that’s is right handed.

A prospect as in, he’s a prospect yes. An “A” rated prospect? Lol no

Eklund has had less success than him in the AHL level and is one year younger. Does that make Eklund a b-tier prospect?

He also doesn’t have injury history and has 3 less points in more than 20 less games in the nhl. And actually Robertson is. 23 months older than Eklund.

My point still stands. Eklund has had less success in the AHL. FYI Robertson was born September 2001 and Eklund is October 2022. Robertson is only 1 year older and has had more success. Also when has injury history define a prospect potential? Because Byfield is injury prone he’s not an A tier prospect?

The only thing Robertson is a top level at is being on LTIR. Iron man has topped out at 38 Games in his best season AHL/NHL combined

Lmfaoo he wasn’t even supposed to be at the AHL level when he got injured as the OHL cancelled their season and he was only allowed there to a loophole through the new cba. He still an A tier prospect justifying it by saying he’s had multiple injuries isn’t a justification but looking for an excuse to not put him there.

Maybe Jakob Chychurun isn’t a top pairing dman because he’s injured all the time?

He's probably not but the Toronto media thinks he is the cup winning piece

I do like Niemela, but I'm definitely not as high on him as I was last year. I could absolutely be wrong, but I think CHI wants more. Like maybe upgrading that 3rd to a 2nd. Especially with Holl in there, he is worth nothing to CHI.
