I would imagine Calgary would be happy to trade Huberneau's 10,5m X 8 year contact for Anderson 5.5m X 4 years straight up, after the season.

We'd be using futures on an underperforming player who will make 10.5 million until the age of 38 while we are rebuilding. My original question remains: why on earth would any team do that.
