I don't think the Sabres necessarily wanna get rid of hinostroza, I think they needed a roster spot. The fact is, his time here is limited, there's a lot of forwards coming, its nice having him as an insurance policy, but it's not doing him any favors. I bet he only hit waivers because the Sabres wouldn't retain any of his 1.7, for what was likely a future considerations/7th round pick return. I would hope that if Vancouver had a regular spot for him and was willing to take all 1.7, that the Sabres would take the 6th offered here, and wish him well.

If Vancouver wanted Hinostroza they would have picked him when he was waived

Creates a big hole in the Bruins right side of the defense. Horvat is a nice to have. The Bruins already rank #1 in the NHL in GF/GP so do they really need to add Horvat at the expense of downgrading on Carlo and weakening their defense? On top of that they have to throw in a 1st + Lysell? They already have a lack luster prospect pool, no need to make it worse.

Lol wut? Kuzmenko has played outstanding but getting a bottom six guy that has proven he can play minutes in KK. A RHD that has a shot with a first and 3rd. That’s an overpay.
