Why would MTL do that? Slaf is what MTL wanted, and is probably more valuable than Wright. They're not adding another pretty high first-round pick as well.

Ok my point of Army only trading him for an overpay still stands. Also he is def worth a first atm. He’s the only dman playing consistently well, not his fault Krug leddy and Parakyo are all atrocious this year

go look at the numbers. his war is at 20% and his defense numbers are even worse. It's the worst of all the regualr DMen on the team. Blues fans have a uncanny obsession with him for some reason and put all the blame on Parayko even though his defense numbers are 3 times better than Faulks. Him, Krug, and Parayko have the same cap hit and only one plays defense (he wears 55 btw). Noone on the Blues roster is a top pairing guy and that is the main problem

I agree Parakyo is getting over hated. I don’t understand advanced stats in the slightest and I won’t pretend too so I all I see is the eye test. And rn Faulk passes it the best. Parakyo is the second best btw. Krug has been dog **** tho
