As much as I hate to say it, that probably gets Horvat. I don't think it's the kind of package the Canucks should be targeting, but it seems to fill the ask pretty well with a very good prospect in Tomasino, a top 4 RHD in Dumba, plus a somewhat young bottom 6 roster player.

JR is looking at a young RHD 26 and under and under term. Not a 28 year old Dumba who's going to be 29 at the end of July and who's a pending UFA. Even as a rental that offer for Horvat is beaten.

Think Carlo from Boston and Hronek from Detroit is what he's looking at not a 28 year old UFA in Matt Dumba.
