Maybe if you took out the 1st and got rid of the retention on Talbot the Kings would do it.

Yeah, in no universe does that trade make any sense lol. Talbot is barely an upgrade at all over Quick.

No, we're not trading ANY first (including the 2025 one) for a rental goalie, never mind the facts that he's currently injured or that he's expensive. But Ottawa needs an experienced RhD, so I can see trading Sean Walker for him one-for-one.

Quick will retire after this season as a King. Kings aren't going to trade him and they won't put him on waivers. All they can do is roll with him and Copley or aquire an affordable goalie and scratch Quick.

This is a terrible deal for LA. That's like trading Zeitsev to a team for a decent RD while giving up a 1st and a 2nd. Would you do that?

This is like saying you're going to send Chabot to the Kings in exchange for future considerations. Of course LA would go for it, but there's not much incentive for Ottawa to do it.
