Blues decline. We aren't trading barbashev to move up in the draft. We are most likely going to suck next year so it would be a late 1st for an early 2nd and barbashev. Easy pass for the blues

Ah, should've checked with your Habs flair. Leafs decline and counter with... idk what good players does MTL have again?

Blues aren’t trading Barbashev to move up what is probably 15-20 slots in the draft. Our outlook doesn’t look great, Toronto on the other hand shouldn’t have a problem competing again next season.

Leafs shouldn't trading Holl for Klingberg straight up. Holl plays against top lines And you wanted to add a first?
I question how much better Domi()who gets PP time) over Kerfoot. Leafs shouldn't be adding Niemela is about their only NHL prospect.
I'm not that high on Barbashov over the current Leafs....but your trade offer is fair, though Blues fans probably won't think so.

Anaheim won't ask for anything more than a first (doesn't even have to be this year's) for Klingberg with 50% retention and a 2023 fourth, and sending Holl back would be a mistake anyway because you can never have too much defense depth in the playoffs. You won't get Barbashev, so his cap hit plus your deadline cap space should be enough to ice this roster.

With your shallow prospect pool (kinda limited to Knies, Niemela and the dubious Robertson, as far as impact possibles goes), you should make every effort to hang on tight to that 2023 first.
