I'm not saying the Wild wouldn't trade Hartman but why all of a sudden the interest in Hartman? There has been like 4-5 ACGM posts involving him did I miss something?

Because he has a $1.7 million cap hit next year. Name a team that wouldn't want that production at that cap hit?

Yeah he had a great year last year playing on the top line, but he is not producing like he did last year. His first half of year has been average mainly because he was hurt and was taken off the top line. I definitely think he is going to have a better second half of the season but yeah I could see why other teams would want him but there hasn't been any reports that he is on the block I am sure BG is/would listening to offers and some of the ACGM offers are pretty good but I think teams are going to have to really overpay to pry him away from the Wild. Most teams and ACGMs wont want to give up the assets.

Agreed.

The time missed always hurts. And even his slow start, he in on pace for what would be a 40-50 point season - which is still a huge bargain.

Can't see Guerin moving him unless a Grade A centre prospect is coming back, and even that I debate as the Wild compete.

Not sure why Minny would be sellers. Looking like 9 teams for 8 spots in the west and they are 1 of them.

Regardless that’s a fair price for a guy that brings 3rd line production.

The guy you are bumping from 3rd line is having a better season. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But i think his cap hit is too valuable for them to move him considering their upcoming cap issues.

No way if anyone wants to offer a 1st for Hartman we should let him go. We have to make room to give some prospects a chance plus that salary could be applied to resign Steele next season.
