I'll start this off by saying Vince Dunn isn't getting traded. He's made a leap into a legitimate top-pairing defenseman who's formed a strong partnership with Adam Larsson to form the backbone of the Kraken defense. He's a pending RFA but will work out an extension with the team in the offseason, so he'll continue to be a foundational piece for years to come.
That point aside, in this hypothetical scenario, I think Dunn will cost at least what Hampus Lindholm did last deadline, if not more. The price for Lindholm was a first round pick, two second round picks, a prospect, and matching salary. However, Seattle would probably prefer more young established NHLers, so the exact package would look a bit different. Honestly, after trading for Horvat and with as old a roster as the Islanders have, I don't really see how they'd have the pieces to acquire Dunn.
