I think they need a Kerfoot upgrade (someone who can play defense but can score too), and a rental that is more reliable than Sandin, because the Sandin-Holl and Sandin-Liljegren pairings are getting caught making mistakes too often.

I wonder who they can get other than ROR and Toews. Garland seems like an okay idea but I don't like that he can't play C.

As for Sandin hes fine one bad game does not define what he brings. As in general nobody looked good in that game and sure Matthews is out but no excuses

3 new forwards seems unrealistic. I can see them getting two new forwards, but it's probably going to rely on Jarnkrok getting shifted down to the 3rd line by bringing in a guy who is all offense like Domi along with Toews for example. Maybe Barbashev+O'Reilly (but sounds like he might get resigned) but the cost will likely be too much for Dubas to want to pull the trigger.

I wonder if they Leafs can get Troy Terry, he's a RH shot so they might not be interested and I'm guessing the cost will be astronomical especially with his low cap hit on this season.
