Over rookie max deal, you would have to pay for double retention and probably give up a 1st to do so on top of sending out kerfoot, that doesnt get you JT either

I don't really get how the Blackhawks wouldn't get a better offer than that from another team.
And I certainly don't see what's in it for the Flyers, care to explain your thoughts?
