If we can't get a first or a 2023 second plus a good prospect for Adam Henrique with 50% retention, then we might as well just hang onto him for another season. After all, he leads our team in goal scoring and is our best and most reliable faceoff man, in addition to being a key penalty killer, and has another year left on his contract. Yamamoto and a future second is inadequate incentive for us to move him, and that's without even considering the 2024 third (which could be as few as 8 slots, or a quarter of a round, behind the 2024 Edmonton second).
