Package lines up, but I doubt the Ducks move someone they just signed this year. Unless of course it’s a massive overpay.

Why would Wahlstrom take less than his qualifying offer? His market value based on his production is around 1.75 -2 mill on a 1-2 year deal.

If mayfield gets offered more than 3m you have to let him go.

sorry, his qualifying offer is slightly more than that. I just put around what I thought it was

however he's going to be coming off of a season ending injury after playing at a 35 point pace with the team's top point producer and on the first PP where he managed one point. Pretty sure he's not getting much more than a qualifying offer

I tend to agree, just don't think that's what Lou has in mind

That’s not how this works - Wahlstrom has not been a regular on the PP this season. When he was on PP1 the prior two seasons he produced at a high rate. He was actually one of the isles best 5v5 point producers this season and had the best GF% among isles forwards.

Based on his comparables and his production , he isn’t getting less than 1.5 mill. Lou gave bellows 1.2 mill and he is half the player Wahlstrom is.

Only Nelson has produced at a higher rate than Wahlstrom at 5v5 this season.
