This trade would indicate that Demko and Garland are having fantastic season and are worth a haul, which is not true. At all.

I see you’re an Oilers fan, but this is hideous
Demko is hurt & played like crap this year- ZERO INTEREST

And while there may be some fans who’d be happy swapping Garland for Mittelstadt, Mitts has finally stayed healthy & taken a step forward this season- so our GM might not feel the same way
But even if we did want Garland, we wouldn’t be doing Mittelstadt + for him
At most, it would be an even swap

And Levi is basically untouchable, he’s seen as our goalie of the future- i wouldn’t do Levi for Demko straight up, and i don’t think our GM would either
Demko is damaged goods until he gets healthy & starts playing well again- he sucked this year

There’s just no way we’d even remotely consider a trade like this- it’s just that brutal

We don't need Garland like at all. We aren't paying anything like that for demko.
