Flames don’t need to move Lucic to fit in an addition at the deadline, Boeser’s deal next year for the Flames is the issues not this year. If the Flames could move the money to make next year work then I would be all over it for the right package.

Fair, don't need Lucic coming back. I just assumed they'd be against the cap.

Could just Buy Low on Boeser, use him the rest of the season hopefully increasing his value and then flip him for better assets back by Draft Day OR move someone else out to keep him.

Should move Lucic out anyways, use his $5.25mil to acquire 1-3 more rentals.

look at what Pacioretty cost to move last summer. Calgary isn't going to be able to get more than what we are spending now since teams know we would have to move his full cap hit

Fair argument, but Pacioretty was also 33 and coming off a major injury. That’s not really the case with Boeser, but point made

I mean that's why I put the acquisition cost quite low... 2nd round pick and Canucks giving back a 5th as well as retain salary for 3 years.
