Greenway is good defensively but has atrocious offensive underlyings. He's actually just Boqvist but worse.

I like going for Meier but take out sharangovich or no deal and he has to come with an extension. Idt the greenway trade is necessary. Patrick Kane would probably the best person for them to target

No that's not close. A first, Sharangovich and Holtz should be where the conversation starts. I watched a good portion of the Devils game last night and Holtz was far from impressive from what I saw. Listen to the Meier deep dive on the Hockey PDOcast for anyone with these lowball offers for Timo.

You watched all 9 minutes of his ice time?! Whole lot of tape to make a full judgment about him lmao. Can we stop with the whole he’s not good notion based off playing bottom line minutes, it’s comical. You act like the very same player involved in this trade scenario (Timo Meier) didn’t struggle to adjust his first TWO years in the NHL.

Dont forget it was also his first live action in 30 days. Not a fair showing for him and yet he came close to potting one!

And people should have rightfully been concerned at that time with Timo. He made A TON of mistakes and tried to go straight through defenders and would lose possession constantly. He really turned it around is a very different player from that time.

Holtz is still a great prospect, I'm just saying he didn't look good last night lol I didn't say he's bad. He's struggled to get his footing in the NHL and honestly NJ should be playing him in the AHL. Dude has been sitting around for half the season.

I fully think they should be playing him in the AHL. It's strange to just sit him all season. I have no clue what their gameplan is with him.

He's too good for the AHL, he was point per game last year. His biggest issue is pace, so they decided practicing in the NHL with limited ice is better for his development than beating up on the AHL where he really doesn't have much left to learn
