Vancouver has said that they prefer to get back prospects over draft picks in order to speed up the rebuild. Minn has prospect pool to make something happen.

They have these best pool in the league.

Of course they could make something happen.

IF they wanted to. Which they don’t, not with their cap space issues. And especially not without some level of retention, 50% minimum.

So unless some 3rd team gets paid to retain 50% on Boeser and Vancouver retains an additional small amount. It's not happening.
