This could be interesting for Detroit.

I would rather lose Kubalík than Veleno though so if possible swap those two.

Rangers have 3.5 million in dead cap that disappear on the 1st of July so I don't think the situation is as bad as it looks for them though. They can easily offer him his QO and keep negotiating long enough to work things out.

They may not, but this would be a summer deal... and that pick would be mid round.

I picked Veleno because it gave them a young center for under 2 million for their bottom 6. Chytil seems like he's been in the league forever but he's finally realizing his potential. Plus I think he's a realistic guy we could get and lock up long term for a good price and he can still improve.

I agree it's definitely a summer, draft deal and I'm sure thier are some draft protections

I feel terrible for Detroit. Signing Andrew Copp to a 5x5.8 when the jets were offering high 3s / low 4s. He’s a third liner
