Fun Fact: Victor Olofsson has 49 hits and 56 blocked shots in his entire 5 year NHL career. Not the kind of player the Kings should go for. Also not sure how the Kings are adding in this deal.

Not that it would happen, but your getting a goal scorer who can add 20-25 assists, a Guaranteed 2nd with Johnson if he doesn't sign, but he knows your organization inside and out and has turned into a very good 2 way defenseman who can play both sides without loosing anything. And with the retention on Olofsson you probably could get a decent return for him next year if you didn't want to keep him. Guys a consistent 20 goal scorer, he could hit 35-40 this year. With some of your talent up front Olofssons shot could be deadly with you guys. Actually probably get a late 1st and a prospect for Olofsson alone with retention. I like Grans and he would fit nicely but Iafallo is nice but he doesn't replace Olofsson's production. Actually think this is a bad deal for Buffalo

Olofsson is an excellent offensive player, but Iafallo is by far the more valuable all-around player and the Kings are in the upper third of the league offensively. That part of the deal is, if anything, even, but I'll include the third in the balance. Johnson's rights are about to expire and there is some indication that when they do, he'll sign with the Kings, so he's not a weighty element. What's Grans got to do with this?
