We'd retain the full 50% ($2,912,500) on Adam Henrique, which is a full roster spot and therefore significant.

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM, and I'd play Kapanen at RW because that's where he belongs and that's where we're weak.

I don't see the point of the San Jose trade. Left-handed forwards we've got tons of.

I get signing one of Gavrikov and Graves but I don't like both. There are 5/6 LHD like this and that's not even including Zellweger (who should be in the lineup next season) and maybe Mintyukov, who knows.

No reason to do that Lindblom trade.

    Pens deal looks good.

I'd prefer 6 years on Terry, also think he gets more than that.

I doubt Drysdale gets a 1x$1.25M deal, too short and too little money.

I'm figuring Terry gets a 50 million deal across 7 years, and Zegras gets between 7 and 7.5 per on an 8 year deal.

We're wear at Right? I thought it was left where we're short on natural wingers. But then again I see strome as 2RW not 2C(McTavish), but maybe McTavish is the 1LW power forward we need on that line.

Terry and Strome are the only quality natural RWs we have. Carrick and Leason don't do much for me and Silf has aged out.

Don't think it would take that much to get Rico. Avs counter with the '24 1st for Rico 50% retained.

Can see Z getting Hughes' 8x$8M but yeah 8 years and something between 7 and 8 million seems realistic.

I thought Frankie Wheels preferred position was right over left?

I'd still play him at RW on the power play but I'd like him to make the transition to the left because I'm not convinced that Max is going to make it back into our top 6 or that we're keeping Henrique.

Vatrano - Zegras - Terry; Comtois - McTavish - Strome, or Henrique - Zegras - Terry, Vatrano - McTavish - Strome (although you can make a case for McTavish - Strome - Vatrano).

Now I'm playing coach in addition to GM.

Personally, I have liked what I have seen from Jones-Lundestrom-Vatrano 3rd line quite a bit. I believe with the right chemistry Jones can be a middle six/bottom nine guy, but I don't think he makes it back up to the top 6. But hey, you never know, he's a big power forward, maybe trying him out with Zegras and see what happens, it could spark his talents. Of course, we have been saying that about Comtois, and yet they still refuse to play him with Zegras on the top line, yet we will play Grant or Carrick with Zegras no problem......
