That's gonna be a pass from the Hawks. A Kane at 50% this year, the Hawks are likely going to ask for a 2023 first, and at least a high prospect. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks ask for a higher price than that, I would probably put him at a first and a prospect, maybe another low-level pick for salary retention, maybe. Laffy is going to be a second or a combination of 3rd and 4ths. Thing that really kills this deal is the Hawks are rebuilding and looking to rebuild by building their prospect pool. They are not retooling right now, so players like Kerfoot or Engvall are not going to help the hawks at all. So the Hawks would likely view that as a salary dump. It's likely they're included to make the deal work, but any cap relief you're trying to get with a trade your gonna have to pay for (not just with the hawks, but with any team. The rest of the league is not going to help Toronto out with their cap management out of the goodness of their hearts.)
