I think Montreal and Chicago both receive better offers, and Idk why Pittsburgh would really want rodrigues tbh. Pure value wise the trades are decent tho imo

I think CHI might accept. Depends where the market is at and how eager they are to move them and if Toews and Kane will go to COL.

Chicago likely accepts IF Toews and Kane are forcing their hand. There's not a whole lot of quality in there though. Kovalenko may never even move to North America, MacDermid is on a roster for one reason only. Olausson still has potential as does Meyers and then there's the first. The one guy in that trade I don't see Colorado moving is Meyers however. Not saying they wouldn't, just less likely because of how bad it might look going forward trying to sign other college free agents. The Edmundson trade I don't really see as necessary as EJ probably returns for the play offs, and better to keep E-Rod. Yes the picks would help for re-stocking but if you're going all in then why give up Rodrigues. You could probably even throw in another late pick to Chicago for JJ if you wanted some D cover, and keep the assets from the Edmundson trade (or use Ranta instead of Meyers in the Chicago trade).

A 2nd, a guy you just traded for, and Ranta for a 6th dman, to say that’s atrocious value would be insulting to atrocious. COL’s problem is scoring right now so the solution is to trade 5 pieces for 2 guys that combined have 5 more points than Compher and Rodrigues? Scrap everything you did, trade a 6th to CHI for Jack Johnson, and trade for Henrique and you end up spending significantly less while getting closer to what you need.

Word on the street is Toews might not play again this season. Also, Kane has a bad hip. Avs might be better off looking elsewhere for assistance
