As someone who is not a fan of acquiring Kane, that is way too little for him. No need to comment on the other deal either

I wouldn't be shocked to see this happen under specific circumstances. First, Leafs strike out on O'Reilly, Meier etc.
2nd Patty Kane says he only wants to play in Toronto (less value to be had) and give them a conditional pick based on preformance and actually playing games. Doubt this happens, but it's possible.

Seeler is very underrated as a bottom pair d. Not sure if frost moves as he's a guy who seems to have finally found a spot in Philly.

As a Flyers fan, kudos for an interesting deal that I think makes sense. Frost has had a really strong 2nd half of the season, but between Cates, Couturier, Gauthier, and what will inevitably be an extensive search for a true 1C long term, I'm not sure he fits Philly long term. From Torntos perspective, they're getting 2 guys who will genuinely help during a playoff run for about as low of a cost as you could ask for.

Philly probably adds a 3rd or something, but I like that idea a lot

Buffalo rejects. We are a floor team. I don't see them holding that much for a 3rd.

If Kane says Toronto or bust and this is the best offer Toronto makes then the Hawks tell Kane tough cookies you are finishing the season in Chicago. Better find a therapist to help you with that depression.

I'm not saying this is the best offer they could come up with (although look at the Taylor hall trade to Boston when he said only there.... and he was actually healthy).

Chicago would be trash organization if they held Kane back from pursuing another cup with the team of his choosing. If davidson help out for a exta pick and wasted a year of kaners career you think anyone would sign with the hawks? He's a first ballot and arguably the best hawk of all time. This is not a meier situation where you are getting a player in the prime of career and would be a top liner on most teams in the league. I've been watching Kane intensely this season as he has been one of my favorite players for a long time. He doesn't look right (and has a massive cap#) Hence why I said conditional pick. Get what you can from a team where he wants to go and do right by the player.

Kane is being kinda trash player for waiting till then end to make a decision, and then only giving the team 1 option to trade him to. Screw him if that is how he is gonna act.
