Hard to believe, two true hockey franchises like the Leafs and Flyers had so many years of really poor GMs. Especially in a cap league, the GM is the most important guy ins the organization .

I'd throw Seeler (who honestly hasn't been that bad at all) in as a token of good faith and a Wawa hoagie for your gentlemen down south.

Believe me, we don't understand why it's so hard for this organization to grasp that they need actual competent people at the helm. It's the definition of madness.

Part of the reason....and it's true in any business is the following. Let's say a director hires a manager. The manager can't function at the job. The director know it, but takes no action because he made the original hiring and then the director would look incompetent if fired the manager. (Sometimes the human brain just can't let go)

I'm 68 years old. Maybe it's my time in life, but the NHL was a lot more fun when the owners had a face and weren't just faceless corporations. Ed Snider wouldn't allow this BS in Philly now would he?

If that’s the price for TK, I imagine the Canes would be all over that. I don’t see Hayes being the best fit, but retain half and throw in Seeler and we can call it a day.
