Description
Everyone still making acgm deals for Kane and Meier really? I don't think so Dubas had to set up O'Reilly at 25% of his contract but anyways a D to play in the top 4 if Dubas figures that out I personally think he addressed all the needs being 1 top 6, 1 bottom, 1 top 4 D which is pretty impressive regardless what happens.

I like Kalgren more than Woll he's only played 1 game it wasn't very good but I personally think Kalgren has proven he can be relied on last season especially, so essentially I just posted what my favourite group would look like in what position and maybe holmberg on acciari's wing but those 2 and aston-reese I like with the Dumba trade that includes kerfoot.

You really don't like Dumba and Reilly on the top pair? I think it's the sneakiest underrated D pair out there, physical, speedy, offensive, game managing, I seen Dumba make some nasty hits

We'll see anyways top 4 D deal getting done would be so cool, asking a lot in my opinion as fans but would be cool.

I'm not even sure there's much of a problem to solve on the back end maybe just an upgrade that's available in terms of solutions.

Trading Sandin for Dumba makes the defense worse. I feel like the defenseman can be on either side, since Brodie can play the right anyway. Gavrikov, Schenn, and Seeler would be decent options.

Dumba is certainly not the option, and Kallgren is not reliable

Dumba is better than all the defensemen you mentioned combined.

MN say no, they need no more LHS d-men. It's probably too much (value wise) for TOR to pay up to get Dumba.

Not by much, he's fallen out of favor in Minnesota for a reason. I don't think it makes sense for any contending team to take on a "reclamation project" during a cup run. He needs to find his game again and it's not worth the risk to see if he can do it during the playoffs.

I'd rather keep sandin than have Dumba alone

I used to be a big Dumba fan but he hasn't been particularly great for a few years

Dumba isn't exactly stout defensively, if they add a defenceman it's someone who's physical and can fill a shutdown role. That isn't Dumba he's more offensive

Funny, because of those defenceman mentioned. Dumba is the best one defensively speaking. 🤷‍♂️

When expectations are high players like Dumba are always under a microscope and any fault is looked at so strongly, Morgan Reilly has 7 points in his last 7 games and there's concern for his play in Toronto but in my opinion Reilly, Dumba guys like that have proven year after year to be effective top elite D in the league you cannot judge them on bad stretches of games, maybe 2-3 seasons of low production and clear downfall in overall play like Subban you could see that he lost it and it was 2-3 seasons to be sure of it.
I appreciate your posts, I think Dumba on the block for a few years was only because how good he is and now Minnesota has a couple other high price D and some young guys but you hear a guy is on the trade block all the time fans wonder why and maybe he's not that good, I don't think Dumba is Pietrangelo or Hedman but he's elite top 1-2 D man.

If the Leafs got him lord have mercy..
