Would Zucker consider a return to Minnesota?

Not sure Hawks take that extra cap back for free. Domi probably gets a 2nd anyway.

Minnesota isn't the place to go to solve your cap problems. That deal doesn't work for them.

Who was it that reported it's more than likely Domi returns to Chicago for next season if traded now? Doesn't that lower his value?

OP needs to do research on teams they are trying to do trades with. You’ve got Minnesota adding $5M in cap from Pittsburgh and retaining an additional $1.75M. That’s +$5M to a team that only has like $9M to sign 9 players

He (personally) most definitely would come back to MN, his wife and kids are from MN and spends the offseason in MN but I don't think Wild brass would bring him back. But why would the Pens trade Zucker?

I know a lot of Wild fans would love to have him back too..

Not sure why that lowers his trade value? UFA's get traded every deadline and choose to test free agency over the summer.

At this point in their careers I think I'm taking Desmith over MAF and Kap over Puljujarvi. I like giving DOC playing time though and still think that 3rd line is an upgrade

Usually the teams at least try to resign the UFA. That may mean there's less teams interested if that's not an option. LA, for instance, would strongly prefer guys that they can hold on to.
