Don’t try and act like Kravtsov has any sort of value, he doesn’t. Don’t know much about sykora. Jones is maybe a third pair not a 2nd pair.

If I’m trading for these guys as a single piece, Jones is like a 3rd rounder, Kravtsov I wouldn’t put more than a 5th at. There’s just not a ton of value there. Not enough high end pieces, it’s a bunch of depth pieces.

Would you move Chytil for depth pieces?

respectfully, i disagree with your valuation of certain players here. kravtsov, while underperforming, is still a young player, only 23, and is still considered to have upside. his valuation from rumors around the league is a late 2nd/3rd. jones, whos is one of the better offensive minded defenseman prospects, has shown true talent when it comes to his game. he looks like a younger adam fox which is weird to say in regards as he is only 25. jones is 21/22 and has top 4 upside by most scouts. sykora is a great gritty player who plays a lot like arturri lekhonen but with added offense. he is an above average defensive player and his skating is as well. i would say the breakdown of value from what i can see is 2023 1st, 2024 1st (rangers likely to make ecf), 2nd round pick (sykora), 2nd round pick (jones), 3rd round pick (kravtsov). so 2 firsts, 2 2nds and a 3rd for Meier as a rental

I just don’t see value in Kravtsov. Hasn’t performed well in North America and has asked for a trade multiple times. Obviously has attitude issues, just don’t really want that. Jones I could see San Jose taking a chance on though I think it would be a 3rd since they are so bad right now. Not sure about sykora. I just think they get offered much higher end pieces elsewhere and maybe even without $3 mil retention

all fair points. krav from the media perspective has attitude issues due to his issues last year and before. this year however, he is a different guy. he has had his head down and not done stupid things or said stupid things. he was the first player at camp this summer and he has been on the ice first and last at practices. he has matured a bit but his previous antics have hurt his value.

I thought you couldn't have conditional 1sts based on whether players sign or not, so that 2nd is not turning into a 1st based on that
it is quantity versus quality but may be enough for Grier, but I hope not. If you were sending Othmann it'd be a different story
